Originally from the East Coast, Julia was transplanted in 2000 to California. Before the move, Julia wrote, produced, and starred in a two-woman show called 3DTV, which celebrated the “plus-sized” woman by presenting re-written sitcom shows such as Three’s Company and Get Smart as if they had been cast with large women. A terrific success (sold-out shows in New York and Connecticut) prompted her to “take it on the road,” as it were, and she moved west to California.
When she first arrived in LA, Julia concentrated on building her film resume, and called herself "the Parker Posey" of student films (she booked and shot 15 student films within six months!). As her resume grew, so did her knowledge of film production, and this on-the-job training led her to try her hand at producing. Julia co-produced and co-wrote her first short film in 2004, as part of the 48-Hour Film Challenge (a contest where you write, shoot and edit a movie in two days). Subsequently, Julia did seven more such films, eventually producing them on her own, and Diva D Productions was born.
One of these 48-hour films was re-edited and cut into a festival film called The Amoeba. Another of these films became what is now Cast This!. As Julia continued to build her acting resume, she saw the perfect opportunity to combine all her loves into one exciting new project: the internet sitcom. The opportunity to produce this series has kept her in front of the camera, as well as behind it, working with people she enjoys, and who are extremely talented. Currently unrepresented,

Bruno Oliver has been kicking around Los Angeles for about 10 years now. Sure, he's done some TV stuff, like Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, Boston Legal, Crossing Jordan, Night Stalker. Yeah, he's done a bunch of indie features, including the soon to be completed Twixter and a secretly titled thriller premiering at Tribeca and Richard III premiering at the Houston Int'l Fest. Of course, he has years and years of theatre experience in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and beyond - from Shakespeare fests to cool local companies like Sacred Fools and Zoo District. He's even got one of those fancy shmancy Acting degrees....oooohhh...smell him.But Bruno's true genius lies in his exponentially growing body of work in short films and Internet entertainment. Cast This, Instant Films, etc, etc, They just keep multiplying. He must be stopped. Please, someone must make him famous and keep him busy in large budget projects. Help stop the madness.
